Not sure why but alot of the text colors here are very dark & cant be seen against the black background. The only way they can be seen is to highlight them. In the header where it says " The World of X-Files - << Post Message >>... etc", I can only see how many messages I have (dark blue). In the room list right above this message box (The World of X-Files :: General :: Suggestion Box :: Post Message), the only word I see is "General" Also, the ProBoards in the footer has the same problem.
I realize this isnt that big a problem, but it is a little annoying. Can anything be done about it ? Perhaps some shadow in the text ?
Thanks for keeping the X up and running. I still think this is the best site on the web.

I hope the new color scheme is more to your liking.

Thanks for your reply adminX.
Unfortunatly, I dont see any changes yet. I have deleted my cache & cookies in case that is (or was) the problem, but its still the same. I'm wondering if others have noticed this or if its just me.
I'll check back later to see if the changes have been made.
Thanks again for your attention on this matter

There's clearly a difference since I changed the colors. May I suggest that you increase the brightness setting on your monitor.
If that's not an option, let me know and I'll try another color scheme.

I see no difference either? I just looked at source and don't see any closing body tag, and is <br/> a valid tag? A Guy

Ok... I checked source with IE & found </body> </html> at the bottom below the Proboards ad
Also in the source page, I found most of the font colors selected as #000000 (black). Seems to me that black text on a black background is usually fairly hard to read. Just to make sure I am understood, I meant the text above the menu bar (Home - Help - Search - Members - .... etc)
Another strange thing is that some of the breaks are notated as <br /> (with a space) I thought breaks had to be written as <br/>, but I'm no html expert, so what do I know ... LOL

I'm not coding any html. I'm merely selecting color and text options in the admin area. After that, proboards creates the code.
