I have GnuPG v.2-something on my computer, but most of the time it is useless - it refuses to download. In other words I never get the Kleopatra user interface, even though I sometimes see it if I open the Task Manager.
And anyway, the latest versions are unnecessarily bulky for me. My tasks are simple. I type my e-mail message in Notepad, then select all text and encrypt it. Sometimes I encrypt a file. Nothing else, ever.
The old GnuPG 1.4.7 with WinPT was good, but I cannot find it anywhere on the net any more. I used to have it, but I lost it thru an accident.
Could you please help? I need it.
And - because it is an encrypting program anyway, I need it for security, so please don't give me any suspicious warez links! Maybe they have installed their own eavesdroppers in their bundles...
Thanks.

Thanks, A Guy. I was lucky enough to find the right place myself, but thanks to you anyway.
This site contains the old versions of GnuPG:
h**tp://ftp.gpg4win.org/
IMPORTANT ADVICE: If you are using Windows, DO NOT download gpg4win-1.1.3.exe. It is buggy and does not work. (I don't know if the same is true with gpg4win-1.1.3.tar.bz2 - maybe.)
If you want to get a good GnuPG version for Windows without Kleopatra, download gpg4win-1.1.4.exe.
